Recipe

You'll need

  • 3/4 oz dry gin
  • 3/4 oz green Chartreuse
  • 3/4 oz maraschino liqueur
  • 3/4 oz lime juice
  • Cocktail cherry, plus a splash of cherry juice

Make it

  1. Shake everything hard with ice.
  2. Strain into a chilled coupe.
  3. Add a cherry and a little cherry juice (Erik's touch).

A classic from the early 1900s. Equal parts make it easy to remember. Green Chartreuse on its own the week before had not gone well.
